Layout Master provides two kinds of previewing. Manual previewing when you want it, and Live previewing (currently in the Macintosh only). The advantage of Live previewing is that you see the effects of your changes almost instantaneously in the browser or browsers you want as soon as you make them. In addition, as we saw above, there is a WYSIWYG editing mode (currently Macintosh only). While this does not reproduce exactly what you see in a web browser, it allows for easier editing when fine tuning is important.
Of course you'll want to preview your layouts in various browsers. When you first run Layout Master the application finds any copies of Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, versions 4 or higher and adds them tot he list of preview browsers list in the Preview in Browser submenu of the Preview menu. So you should be able to just choose one of these browsers and launch it to preview straight away.
You may however at some stage wish to modify this list of preview browsers.
